As your therapist I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a happily married mother of three. Right out of high school I worked for a care service where I assisted with the simple every day needs of elderly people in their homes. I loved the work and the caring for people but gave it up for a different career path.  For ten years I worked in an office job that required me to sit and type most of the day. The constant repetitive actions common to desk oriented work left my body fatigued and sore. Being a massage therapist has always been my dream; I remembered the happiness I received from helping others and believed I would be the perfect candidate to pursue a career in the art of healing touch. One day while receiving a massage to assist in relieving the pain caused by my desk job I realized the time had come. With the support of God, my loving husband, and all of my friends and family, I took a leap of faith, quit my job and went back to school. I have never thought twice since that day that it was the right decision.  Being a therapist gives me a chance to help those in need and a chance to spend more time with my family. Every day is simply more fulfilling as I look forward to meeting new individuals and using my skills to help them.
